Beatles Album: Help: Track 10
Year: 1965
Lyrics: Harrison
Length: 2.34
George Harrison wrote the lyrics to the Beatles song you like me to much. It is a very basic love song, very much in the same optimistic style as Paul in that despite being dumped by his girl he is confident that everything will work out ok because she loves him so. The song was considered weak by John Lennon and so it was put on the B side of the help album.
George takes the lead vocals on his own song, and Paul McCartney and George Martin play together on the same piano, and for good measure John Lennon plays the electric piano on you like me too much.
John Lennon: Acoustic guitar, Electric Piano.
Paul McCartney: Harmony vocals, Steinway Piano.
George Harrison: Lead vocals, Lead Guitar
Ringo Starr: Drums, Tambourine
George Martin: Steinway Piano
